Amber Goppert

Amber is the fearless leader and mastermind behind The Training Room ATL. Her determination and dedication to improving not only her clients and those around her, but also herself, has made her one of the most influential and motivating fitness professionals in her industry.

When Amber is not at The Training Room, which isn't often, you can find her walking the beltline with #izzythestalkingdog.


Jermaine Hough

Jermaine was born and raised in Georgia and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from Jacksonville State University. He left his mark at JSU as a 3 year All-American football player. He believes that a strength and conditioning based program, with a proper diet, is the foundation of a lean mean fighting machine! Jermaine has spent significant time studying under mentor and coach Robert Jacobs and has learned many different methods and techniques of strength training and program design. He strives to be a blessing to others by motivating and pushing individuals to achieve their goals.


Colleen Letak

Collen is definitely a fan favorite at the Training Room. She hails from Philadelphia, PA. Don't let her big smile fool you, she will push her harder than you ever imagined possible!

Outside of the gym, you can find her spending time outside her with her friends, running on the beltline and reading a good book.



Bo Stansell

Bo is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from Athens, Georgia. Bo played football for two years at The University of Georgia where he discovered his passion for training and exercise. While at UGA, Bo earned his bachelor and master degrees in Exercise Science. He has worked in clinical, commercial, and private settings for the last decade helping a multitude of different clients achieve their goals of living healthier happier lives.


Elle Ross

Elle is a passionate and motivated Holistic Fitness Coach, Author & Speaker. She specializes in Strength Training and Nutrition. She herself has went through her own transformation journey losing over 30 pounds. Since it has been her mission to inspire and create a positive impact on all those she encounters. Both in physical and mental fitness. She believes that it all begins with a desire and commitment to decide to change. Once you do, then you must become fully invested to transform into your best self. First we must shift our mindset and focus, accompanied with proper nutrition and a solid exercise routine. She is here to help coach and motivate you every step of your journey.


KK Salmon

KK hails from the great state of Massachusetts, she reps the Patriots, and if you’re a Falcons fan you’ll probably hear about it.

KK has always been passionate about strength training, but her desire to train others started taking shape while she was a three sport athlete at Springfield College.  KK loves variety in teaching and training whether that’s circuit style training to personal training or TRX.  She holds personal and group training certifications from the American Council on Exercise, a functional training certification through TRX, and a fitness nutrition certification.  

Outside of the gym, KK works in marketing for the Atlanta Hawks and makes highlights for NBATV.  She loves outdoor activities like hiking and climbing, traveling to new places, and you might catch her on a basketball court crossing up fools from time to time.

Mike Maddalena

Mike has been a  fitness professional since 1996. His long career includes training thousands of Atlantans, owning one of the city’s longest running fitness boot camps, and starting the fourth CrossFit affiliate in the city. Mike is now super excited to be leading classes and coaching clients at TTR!

An amateur athlete for most of his life, it was as a collegiate rower in Ithaca, New York that Mike really fell in love with fitness. Athletics never came easy for him, always having to work a little harder and practice a little longer. Not being a “natural" athlete has helped him to connect and work well with clients of all fitness levels.


Jose Mendoza

José Mendoza was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia State University where he earned his bachelors degree in Exercise Science. He also obtained his AFAA, ACSM, and Zumba certifications before graduating. Throughout his collegiate career, José was a competitive long distance runner which is what led him to pursue his career in the fitness industry. Outside of the gym, you can find him spending time with family and friends. And talk about food, he LOVES food!


Maria Voisin

Maria is a NASM CPT, with CES (Corrective Exercise Specialization), a Power Pilates 600 hr Full Comprehensive Certified Instructor, a Professional Ballroom and Latin dancer for over 15 years, teaches Stand Up Paddle board, and she is Stretch Therapy Certified and Red Cord Trained. Her specialties include corrective exercise, spine and alignment health, stability training, and post op rehab from surgery or injury recovery.


Vaibhav Maurya, M.D

Dr. Maurya received his undergraduate degree in biology at Georgia Tech, then went on to complete his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia.

By implementing a comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, as well as an understanding of disease processes, V helps his clients reach their full physical potential safely and effectively. He has a level academic credibility and scientific rigor that is rare among personal trainers.

Dr. Maurya is certified through the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers and the American Council of Exercise.


Brenda Rivera

Brenda Rivera became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutritionist after her own health journey. Having lost nearly 40+ lbs can be quite a transformation for anyone. She quit corporate america and enrolled full time into the Atlanta School of Personal Training. Today she focuses on holistic health from the inside out! 

Outside the gym you will find her exploring new trails, kayaking, reading, and simply learning to enjoy each day to the fullest.
